Frequently Asked Questions
Is CT scan safe?
CT scans use ionizing radiation, but modern scanners use very low doses. Our 128-slice CT uses automatic dose modulation to minimize radiation while maintaining image quality.
How long does CT scan take?
Most CT scans take only 10–15 minutes from preparation to completion. The actual scanning part is just seconds to a few minutes.
Can I eat before CT scan?
For non-contrast CT, eating is usually fine. For CT with contrast, 4 hours of fasting is recommended. Please confirm at the time of booking.
