What is PET CT Scan?
A PET CT scan (Positron Emission Tomography – Computed Tomography) combines two powerful imaging technologies in a single session. PET shows metabolic activity (how cells are functioning), while CT provides detailed anatomical images. Together, they give your doctor a complete picture of what is happening inside your body at both the functional and structural level.

Specifically for prostate cancer detection and staging. Highly sensitive for metastatic prostate cancer. Starting from ₹18,000.
Ga-68 DOTANOC PET CT
For neuroendocrine tumours (NET). High sensitivity for detecting metastatic NETs. Starting from ₹20,000.
NaF PET CT (Bone Scan)
Sodium Fluoride PET for bone metastasis detection. More sensitive than traditional bone scan. Starting from ₹12,000.
How to Prepare for PET CT Scan
Fasting Required
Do not eat or drink anything (except plain water) for at least 6 hours before your scan appointment.
Blood Sugar Check
Arrive 30 minutes early. We will check your blood sugar level. It must be below 200 mg/dL for the scan to proceed.
Tracer Injection
A small amount of radioactive tracer (FDG or other) is injected. You will rest quietly for 45–60 minutes for the tracer to distribute.
Scanning (30–40 min)
You lie still on the scanner table while the PET CT machine takes images. The procedure is painless and non-invasive.
Report Delivery
Reports are prepared by our nuclear medicine specialist and radiologist. Reports sent via WhatsApp, email and physical copy within 4–6 hours.
